Made in Britain
We have joined the growing community of British manufacturers and become a member of Made in Britain. The Made in Britain campaign supports and promotes British manufacturing, and the mark gives you, our customers, confidence that you are buying a British manufactured product.
All of our machined components are manufactured in Barnsley, South Yorkshire from materials sourced from UK accredited suppliers. By providing a reliable service, great quality products and constant innovation, we aim to grow our business whilst promoting the engineering reputation of South Yorkshire and the UK.
Disclaimer
The Made in Britain mark is accredited to businesses that sell goods that have been manufactured or have undergone a final substantial change in Britain before sale. All companies that apply to use the Made in Britain mark have to submit written evidence that they manufacture their products in Britain.
Made in Britain adheres to advice on country of origin labelling included in the Trade Descriptions Act 1968. The term ‘Country of Origin’ is therefore the country in which a product last underwent a final treatment or process resulting in a substantial change. For a Made In Britain member, this is confirmed to be Great Britain
The Made in Britain organisation aims to prove, wherever possible that products made in Britain by their members are of the highest quality, represent value for money, are safe for anyone that uses or consumes them and that the companies that make them adhere to the highest business standards.
Watfields Limited/PCD Parts are proudly members of the Made in Britain Organisation. The Made In Britain mark is displayed on the PCD Parts website and all related marketing media.
A small number of products, such as fixings (bolts, nuts, studs etc), spigot rings and some aircooled components (brake discs, calipers and pads) in the Watfields Limited/PCD Parts portfolio are not exclusively manufactured by Watfields Limited/PCD Parts in the UK and the mark is not applicable to these. Nor, wherever reasonably possible, is it displayed in such a manner as to infer that these products may be made In Britain.
